Who We Are

The Anderson Partnership for Healthy Children (“APHC”, “the Partnership”) is a network of community organizations and service providers in the City of Anderson and surrounding South County communities, who come together to share information and focus collective energy and resources on achieving our mission: to provide a physically, spiritually and mentally healthy environment for children, families and community.  The Partnership operates under the fiscal and operational oversight of the Shasta County Child Abuse Prevention Coordinating Council, a private non-profit (501c3) corporation. The Partnership was founded in 1992 by the Shasta County Child Abuse Prevention Council, City of Anderson Parks and Recreation Department, Shasta County Public Health, and Cascade Elementary and Anderson High School Districts. Please see our Founding Partners and Community Partners sections to learn more about the organizations that make up the Partnership.
In addition to the crucial community and partner support that make our activities possible, APHC has received financial support from these present and past funders. We thank them all for their support!
